Program Description:
Develop and prepare students with the knowledge and skills to perform in a high level competence as valuable asset of a team not limited to just retail pharmacy environments but also in a hospital, specialty, infusion, compounding, or home healthcare setting. The students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge through didactic courses directed to know the most important aspects of this field. The pharmacy technician is the professional that helps the Pharmacist dispatch medication prescribed by the doctor; furthermore, the pharmacy technician plays a very important role since its an intermediary between the doctor and the pharmacist, the pharmacist and the patient.
