Complete Your Degree

UAGM Dallas provides students with the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree and prepare them to compete for entry level positions or apply for a graduate program. This program is not designed to meet licensure requirements. The students can choose from one of the six major tracks: Biology, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Communications and Religious Studies.

What is a Completion Degree?

A completion program is an academic program designed specifically for students who have started a four-year undergraduate degree but have not completed their studies.

Through this completion degree, the institution may accept some or all credits earned by the student from a prior education institution, or multiple institutions; thereby, allowing the student a faster option of completing their undergraduate degree, without the need of starting an undergraduate degree from the beginning. Credits to be transferred are determined after an evaluation of the student record.

Besides credits earned with the UAGM, transfer credit will be the only mechanism for earning credits toward this completion degree. All courses to be transferred must come from accredited institutions including Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), recognized by Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or approved by National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS). Credits earned from institutions outside of the United States will go through a credential evaluation process by a recognized service for the evaluation of foreign credentials. This service will be provided by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and the student will be responsible for any corresponding processes and fees.
